33 students suspected of food poisoning in Quang Ninh discharged from hospital

On the evening of March 27, information from the People's Committee of Cam Pha City said that 33 students of Quang Hanh Primary School were hospitalized after a lunch, suspected of food poisoning, and are now in stable condition and have returned home.

According to doctors at Cam Pha Regional General Hospital, after nearly a day of health monitoring, the 33 students showed no dangerous clinical signs. Many students were in a better mood than before, so the hospital allowed them to return home to prepare for normal schooling.

As Thanh Nien reported, at around 11am on March 27, at Quang Hanh Primary School, 33 students showed signs of nausea and stomachache after a lunch, suspected of food poisoning.

Students suspected of food poisoning are being monitored at the hospital.

Immediately afterwards, the Board of Directors of Quang Hanh Primary School took 33 students to Cam Pha Regional General Hospital for health monitoring. Cam Pha City authorities took samples and urgently investigated the incident.

The leaders of Cam Pha City People's Committee directed the authorities to strengthen the supervision of food safety and hygiene foreducational establishments in the area, especially schools that organize meals for students staying at boarding schools in the classroom.
