After the opening night of the Dien Bien National Tourism Year and the 2024 Ban Flower Festival, the appearance of 200 drones in the sky of Dien Bien City made people and tourists excited to admire.
This is also a new feature of this year's opening night. 200 drones with different light patches have arranged impressive images of Dien Bien's history, tourism and destinations in Vietnam.

The first time seeing a light show with a drone, Ms. Tran Thi Am (Noong Luon commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province) was there very early to wait.
"Because my house is far away, I left early to get a good seat. Before 2pm, my whole family was already at the square. This year's opening night was great, especially the drone performance which was completely new to us," Ms. Am shared.
Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh (Hanoi) said that she had seen a drone performance in Hanoi once during the Get on Hanoi 2024 event at Trinh Cong Son walking street, but today's performance left her with more emotions than ever.
"Perhaps standing on the heroic land on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory makes me find the symbols appearing in the sky of Dien Bien today even more meaningful.
In particular, the image of the soldier raising the flag of victory on the roof of De Castries bunker makes me more proud, grateful to previous generations, and love my country Vietnam more," Linh confided.

For about 10 minutes, images associated with Dien Bien such as Ban flowers, Pieu scarves, A321 planes, etc. appeared in the sky one after another, making it impossible for locals and tourists to take their eyes off them.
The opening night of Dien Bien National Tourism Year ended with light shows in the sky, but opened up hundreds of cultural and tourism events and activities taking place throughout the year.
After a series of exciting activities taking place in March, many activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory were held in May, such as: a special art exchange program and high-altitude fireworks display, and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Not only that, when coming to Dien Bien during the National Tourism Year, tourists can also immerse themselves in the lives of local people, visit Muong Thanh fields, Tua Chua stone plateau, conquer Pha Din pass and visit the landmark at the A Pa Chai border junction...
There are currently three flights to Dien Bien every day, including two flights from Hanoi to Dien Bien and one flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Dien Bien. From Hanoi, visitors can also choose to travel to Dien Bien by bus or private car.
