Meeting two women living in a virtual world, Ngoc Anh was forced to use extraordinary braking (braking the train to a complete stop). When the train was 10 meters away from the two women, they ran off the tracks.
Clarifying the clip of 2 women posing for photos on the railway, the train driver had to blow the horn continuously
In recent days, a clip recording two women posing on the railway tracks, despite the approaching train, has been shared on many social networking sites.
The incident happened on March 12 at Huong Lai - Vinh Yen section (Vinh Phuc), train 3206 was going to km54 when two women calmly walked on the tracks to take pictures, despite the train driver having to brake suddenly and blow the horn continuously.
The driver of train 3206 who encountered the above situation was Mr. Le Ngoc Anh (43 years old), from Hanoi Locomotive Enterprise. The above train was carrying goods with 25 carriages (including the locomotive) moving along the route from Tien Kien station (Phu Tho) to Yen Vien station (Hanoi).
This is considered a very dangerous situation because when a train weighing hundreds of tons is moving, an emergency stop is difficult to make.
At that time, the train was moving at 40km/h. From a distance of more than 200m, the train driver discovered two people standing on the tracks, so he continuously blew the whistle and slowed down.
The above situation forced Mr. Ngoc Anh to use extraordinary braking (braking the train to a complete stop). When the train slowed down and was about to stop, only 10 meters away from the two women, they ran off the tracks.
"After 20 years of driving trains and thousands of trips on railway routes from North to South, I have encountered many situations, but this is the first time I have witnessed someone posing recklessly in front of a moving train just to take a photo," said the train driver.
Driver Ngoc Anh added that railway traffic is actually very complicated, and it is easy to encounter unexpected situations that require extraordinary braking. In his many years as a train driver, he has had to use extraordinary braking a few times, but the last time was 5-6 years ago.

There are many hypotheses about the incident raised by the train driver in the above situation such as: the train did not stop in time causing the accident; or the train driver reacted in time but due to sudden braking caused the train to derail and capsize. "If it was a passenger train, many lives would have been at risk," said train driver Ngoc Anh.
"Such a situation is beyond the control of train drivers like us. Fortunately, no unfortunate incidents have occurred. After the incident, I reported to the front and rear guards to ensure safety so that the train could continue its journey and reach Yen Vien station," said Ngoc Anh.
Pose for a photo while the train rushes by
Previously, social networks circulated a clip recording two women posing for photos on the train tracks.
Notably, as the train was approaching, these two people continued to calmly walk on the tracks, despite the train driver having to brake suddenly and blow the whistle continuously.
When the train was approaching, only about 10 meters away, the woman in the black dress jumped off the tracks.
The incident did not cause any damage to people or the train, but showed the two women's poor awareness of traffic safety. The area is completely within the railway safety corridor. The Traffic Police Department has requested the relevant units to investigate.
