According to the announcement of Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), from December 6, vehicles traveling on Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway in the direction of Liem Tuyen - Cao Bo when reaching Km239+800 will turn right onto the branch road (belonging to the Liem Son Intersection Construction Investment Project), then enter the main highway route at Km242+220 to go to Cao Bo Intersection.
In the opposite direction, vehicles traveling on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway in the direction of Cao Bo - Liem Tuyen must turn right at Km242+900 onto the branch road (belonging to the Liem Son Intersection Construction Investment Project), then enter the main route of the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway at Km240+500 to go to the Liem Tuyen Intersection.
VEC emphasized that the maximum speed allowed for vehicles on the branch road (project construction area, section Km239+800-Km242+900) must not exceed 60km/h. At the same time, vehicles need to gradually reduce their speed on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway before entering the branch road and gradually increase it from the branch road entering the expressway.

On the other hand, vehicles traveling through the route must pay attention to complying with the road signal system and instructions of the operating unit on the route. If you encounter a problem or discover an unusual event, please contact the operator via the hotline number 1900 1838 (24/7).
The 50 km long Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway was invested and put into use in July 2021, with a total capital of more than VND 8,900 billion, a scale of 4 lanes and 2 emergency lanes along the route, with a maximum operating speed of 120 km.
In 2023, this highway will serve over 21 million vehicles, an increase of more than 7% compared to 2022, and is considered the highway with the highest traffic volume among the 4 highways managed by VEC.
The Ministry of Transport assessed that after more than 10 years of operation, traffic volume on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway has increased, especially after the Cao Bo - Dien Chau expressway sections (part of the North - South expressway phase 1) were put into operation. Therefore , VEC is researching and reporting to competent authorities to consider the investment plan to expand the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway from 4 lanes to 6 - 8 lanes.
