On January 28, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 146/QD-TTg approving the Project "Raising awareness, popularizing skills and developing human resources for national digital transformation by 2025, with a vision to 2030". After 1 year of implementing the Project, communication activities to raise awareness of digital transformation in localities have achieved remarkable results.
Accordingly, 100% of ministries, branches and localities have organized conferences, seminars and event programs to communicate and raise awareness about digital transformation.
The topics and contents of these programs are closely related to digital transformation activities in the industry, field or are closely linked to the specific socio-economic development situation of the locality.
Through that, many solutions to digital transformation problems have been proposed, many "pains" have found solutions, many experiences and successful lessons have been shared.
Notably, integrating digital transformation content into exchange programs, exhibitions, and introductions to the country, people, culture, and tourism of Vietnam abroad is also a simple and familiar approach not only to Vietnamese people but also to international tourists and friends.
According to the report of the Ministry of Information and Communications, 100% of ministries, branches and localities have set up specialized pages and sections on digital transformation on the electronic information portals of agencies and localities. On these, the articles exploit and post a rich and diverse range of content related to digital transformation in all industries, professions and fields.
This activity creates a natural establishment in people's awareness of digital transformation.
With the aim of supporting the raising of awareness and capacity to access digital transformation, television channels such as Vietnam Television (VTV) and VTC Digital Television under the Voice of Vietnam have produced and broadcast propaganda programs and reports that attract a high number of viewers.
In particular, VTC carries out communication through 3 programs with the highest viewership including News Bulletin, Connected Living Bulletin and Talk Show (VietnamOn Talkshow).
In addition to promoting policies of ministries and branches on digital transformation, the programs are built with the orientation of focusing on technological solutions serving the digital transformation of Vietnamese technology enterprises, while approaching the content from the perspective of the people, guiding people to apply technology to serve work and life.
Taking advantage of the strength of being the most used Vietnamese platform by Vietnamese people, the Ministry of Information and Communications has established and developed the Zalo OA channel "National Digital Transformation" on the Zalo platform, officially operating from April 2022.
The channel regularly updates the latest information on digital transformation to serve cadres, civil servants, public employees, and members of the Community Digital Technology Group. After more than 1 year of implementation, the Zalo OA channel has more than 136,000 followers with more than 10,000 interactions per post.
The Ministry of Information and Communications has built the National Digital Transformation Portal at dx.gov.vn as the official access point for the "National Digital Transformation Program to 2023, with a vision to 2030" and the "E-Government Development Strategy towards Digital Government for the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2023".
