Regarding traffic accidents, Dr. Kieu said that in addition to accidents caused by older children driving their own vehicles, there are also cases where they are transported by family members. Traffic accidents range from mild to severe, especially cases of traumatic brain injury, leaving many serious consequences.
The main reasons are that older children drive their own vehicles but are not yet good at handling emergency situations; children are driven by their parents and the vehicle collides with other vehicles; parents drive their children but use alcohol and cannot control their speed, speed, or overtake recklessly...
"When traveling with children, parents need to pay attention and strictly follow traffic laws such as wearing helmets, not running red lights, not driving after drinking alcohol... Always obey traffic laws for children to follow, especially during the time before the Lunar New Year is approaching," Dr. Kieu shared.
