Oh Mom! is a Pop song composed by Pham Hong Phuoc especially for Myra Tran. The highlight is the folk song in the middle of the song performed by famous singer Huong Lan.
This piece of music challenges the male musician to develop within the same harmonic circle while still remaining true to the folk song rhythm. Previously, he successfully experimented with the hit song Cha gia roi dung khong in 2017, combining a section of Da co hoai lang and dan bau.
Pham Hong Phuoc used a familiar Vietnamese folk song as the lyrics: " Father's merit is as high as the towering mountains/ Mother's merit is as clear as the East Sea/ The mountains are high and the sea is vast/ The nine words of gratitude are engraved in my heart, my child."
The song was recorded in Vietnam and the US. When invited, Huong Lan immediately agreed on the condition that "Myra Tran's singing must touch the listeners' emotions".
"I really feel emotional and sympathetic towards young artists whenever they sing about their parents. Myra Tran did a great job with this song. And finally, we have our own product to perform together," she said.
Because the song was written specifically for Myra Tran, the lyrics express the singer's career perspective: "Mom, I promise to become a good person/ I sing simple lyrics/ Don't sing to become a star/ Sing to have each other for life".
The filming set is simple with 2 spaces symbolizing the life of daughter and mother. Myra Tran recreated her childhood from the certificate of merit, toys to footage recording memories with her mother.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Myra Tran started singing at the age of 15 but has never had a product about her family. She has long cherished the idea of a musical gift to express gratitude to her parents.
The actress who plays the role of the old mother waiting at home, longing for her child, is Myra Tran's grandmother in real life. While taking her to the doctor, she came up with the idea of inviting her to act in the MV.
"I am very proud to put the images of my mother and grandmother in the MV. Lately, I have been flying a lot and busy with my performance schedule, so I have little time for my family. Therefore, I cried from the recording session to the day of filming the MV," she said.
Myra Tran and her mother are as close as two friends, they can hug and talk for hours. However, the female singer often hides her personal emotional problems from her mother, afraid that it will affect her emotionally.
Having witnessed her daughter struggling in her career for many years, she hopes Myra Tran will maintain her career advancement while balancing her private life and family.
