Many people without medical practice certificates were fined.

On January 8, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate announced a list of penalties for a series of individuals and organizations violating the health sector from December 27 to December 4.

According to the Inspector of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, Mr. TAĐ is the owner of the DR Meso business (on Hoang Van Thu Street, Ward 9, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) who has been practicing medicine without a certificate to practice medicine; advertising medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate, and using substances to interfere with the human body against regulations.

For the above violations, Mr. TAĐ was fined 149.5 million VND. He was forced to remove and delete the advertisement when he did not have a license to operate medical examination and treatment. At the same time, the facility was suspended from operating medical examination and treatment until it had a license to operate medical examination and treatment and the practitioner had a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment.

Similarly, Mr. D.V.D, whose facility (on Road 5, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District) was fined 45 million VND for providing medical examination and treatment services without a license. Mr. D.V.D was also suspended from operating until he had a practice certificate and a license to operate medical examination and treatment.

Ms. QTT, owner of Mint (Tran Van Dang Street, Ward 11, District 3) performed medical examinations and treatment without a medical practice certificate. In addition, the facility also used substances that interfered with the human body in violation of regulations. For the above violations, Ms. T. was fined 61.3 million VND and had her medical examination and treatment activities suspended until she obtained a license to operate.

YONSEI TP International Company Limited (Tran Quoc Toan Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3) was fined VND113.6 million. This company used substances that interfered with the human body against regulations, used medical equipment without a circulation registration certificate, traded goods of unknown origin, and did not list prices for medical examination and treatment services... The Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health suspended the medical examination and treatment activities of the facility until it had a medical examination and treatment license and the practitioner had a medical examination and treatment practice certificate. In addition, the violating exhibits were confiscated.

Several other facilities were also fined for not registering the names of departments in the medical examination and treatment facility in accordance with the operating license issued by the competent authority; not recording the medical examination and treatment records in full as required by law; not posting the prices of medical examination and treatment services and not wearing name tags.

Korean Star Cosmetic Surgery Hospital Co., Ltd. (Le Hong Phong Street, Ward 12, District 10) was fined VND8 million because the practitioner did not register to practice medical examination and treatment according to the law.
