Handling the driver of the hearse carrying a fake 'ghost' on the walking street on Halloween night

On November 1, the Traffic Police - Order Team - District 1 Police, Ho Chi Minh City invited Mr. PDT (38 years old, residing in District 7) to work to make a record to handle violations because he drove a hearse carrying many people dressed as ghosts and ghosts, pretending to be dead, "causing chaos" on Nguyen Hue walking street on Halloween night.

Previously, on the evening of October 31, some images and clips appeared on social networks about some people having fun in Halloween costumes, causing offense.

Specifically, the clips show a funeral home's car driving on Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1. However, the car's door is open for some young men dressed as ghosts to tease passersby, some even using fake red hands to touch passersby.

There is a clip showing one person in this group pretending to be a dead person lying on a stretcher being pushed by others on the walking street.

This unique and offensive costume image attracted many passersby to watch, film, take pictures and share on social networks.

The Traffic Police - Order Team - District 1 Police identified and invited the driver of the hearse, Mr. PDT, to work.

Mr. T. said he was a driver for a funeral home in District 7. On the afternoon of October 31, the owner of the home asked him to drive a hearse to take about 8 people from the home to a Halloween party.

These people dressed up as ghosts and Mr. T. drove them from District 7 to Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1 to have fun. While the car was moving on Nguyen Hue street, Mr. T. opened the side and rear doors, allowing the people dressed up to interact and joke with passersby.

Initially, the Traffic Police - Order - District 1 Police Department drew up an administrative violation report against Mr. T. for the crime of "not closing the door while the vehicle was in motion", with a fine of 600 - 800 thousand VND.

This unit also transferred documents and vehicles to Ben Nghe Ward Police to continue verifying and handling Mr. T. as well as related people according to regulations.
