The final round of Group D matches at Euro 2024 was extremely dramatic. Belgium had a tense 0-0 draw with Ukraine. Romania and Slovakia also created an attractive draw with a score of 1-1.

Group E is the most interesting group of Euro 2024 when at the end of the group stage, all four teams have 4 points.

Romania topped the group with 4 points (goal difference +1), confidently advancing to the round of 16. Belgium had the same 4 points and goal difference +1 but had scored fewer goals than Romania so had to accept 2nd place.

Slovakia ranked 3rd with 4 points (0 goal difference), officially advancing to Euro 2024 as they were among the 4 best 3rd-placed teams.

Ukraine finished last in Group E with 4 points (-2 goal difference) and had to finish behind Slovakia due to a lower goal difference. Oleksandr Zinchenko and his teammates had to accept a regretful exit from Euro 2024.

Finishing the group stage in second place, Belgium will face France in the round of 16 of Euro 2024. The match will take place at 11pm on July 1 (Vietnam time).
