Ukrainian Leopard 2A4 tank took down 2 Russian armored vehicles in less than 1 minute

On October 22, a video appeared on social media showing a German-made Leopard 2A4 tank destroying two Russian armored personnel carriers (APCs) in less than a minute. The tank, operated by Ukrainian soldiers from the 33rd Mechanized Brigade, clearly demonstrated its superior firepower, accuracy, and mobility on the battlefield.

The Leopard 2A4 is one of the most popular versions of the Leopard 2 tank family, widely deployed since the late 1970s. The vehicle has undergone numerous upgrades to improve its survivability, firepower and mobility. The tank commander has an independent panoramic view, allowing him to track and engage multiple targets quickly, such as destroying two Russian APCs in quick succession.

With its powerful MTU MB 873 Ka-501 turbocharged diesel engine, the tank can reach speeds of up to 68 km/h and still maintain its agility over rough terrain. Germany, the country that produces the tank, has delivered at least 18 to Ukraine.
