(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 10 in Hanoi , the fourth annual National Forum "Culture with Enterprises" and the Program for reviewing and recognizing enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards in 2024 were solemnly organized by the Vietnam Association for Development of Corporate Culture in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Culture and Information, Chairman of the National Council for selecting enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy; Head of the Organizing Committee for implementing the campaign to build Vietnamese corporate culture, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Developing Corporate Culture (VNABC), former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Anh Tuan; representatives of Central Committees, Ministries and branches; speakers participating in the discussion; enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards and 20 enterprises meeting Vietnamese Corporate Culture standards in 2024.

Speaking at the Forum, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy said that following the success of the Forums in recent years, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to coordinate with the Vietnam Association for Corporate Culture Development to organize the Forum with the theme "Doing business in a multicultural environment".

This is a meaningful activity to contribute to the realization of the Resolutions of the Party and Government on building Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development, while continuing to affirm the position, role and importance of culture in contributing to creating a business environment, recovering and developing the sustainable economy , honoring enterprises with outstanding achievements in building and practicing corporate culture, actively responding to the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture" launched by the Prime Minister.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that in recent times, the domestic business community has grown stronger and stronger, increasing rapidly in number and scale, making important contributions to the implementation of strategic socio-economic development goals. Many businesses have made efforts to build business culture and corporate culture on the basis of inheriting and promoting national cultural values, creating soft power and promoting sustainable business development.

In the current period, facing opportunities and challenges, we have identified culture as an endogenous resource; protecting cultural identity, promoting the potential and strength of national culture in building corporate culture and business culture is an important solution for national development.

“The Party and State are making efforts to create a healthy business environment to attract foreign investors, while promoting the endogenous strength of culture to form and develop cultural industries, building strong Vietnamese enterprises that are not only competitive at home but also reach regional and world levels.

Each enterprise becomes an ambassador to promote Vietnamese cultural values ​​and people to the world, spreading the "soft power" of Vietnamese culture," Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy affirmed.

“Doing business in a multicultural environment” is an open forum for scientists, managers, Vietnamese and foreign enterprises with investment capital in Vietnam to exchange, discuss, clarify the content, tasks, and solutions to recover and develop the economy sustainably, build a healthy business culture environment, and from there propose to the Government, Ministries, and branches recommendations on mechanisms and policies to support businesses to recover and develop in the new situation.

According to the Deputy Minister, at the meeting with representatives of the Vietnamese business and enterprise community on October 11, 2024, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: "The result of nearly 40 years of national renovation, we are happy to have an increasingly large and strong team of entrepreneurs like today. These are people with the desire to rise up to become rich legitimately, constantly learning to improve the competitiveness of enterprises; implementing social responsibility, ethics and business culture".

The General Secretary also affirmed the "particularly important role" of enterprises and entrepreneurs in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise. "The business sector will play an even greater and more important role in the prosperity of the country. To do that, it requires every citizen and every entrepreneur to cultivate a strong and aspirational entrepreneurial spirit. For the current generation of entrepreneurs, this is the time to reshape the role of business leaders and the mission of our entrepreneurial team."

Discussion session with the topic "Enterprise in the 4.0 era: Digital cultural transformation makes a difference"

“The General Secretary's viewpoints and guiding thoughts are important orientations, great encouragement and motivation for management agencies, businessmen and the business community in the coming time…”, the Deputy Minister emphasized.

Within the framework of the Forum, there were 2 discussion sessions with the topics: "Multicultural environment in the context of global business" and "Enterprises in the 4.0 era: Digital cultural transformation makes a difference".

At the Forum, the Organizing Committee commended and awarded certificates of merit to 7 units and 19 journalists who have made positive contributions to spreading the Campaign to build Vietnamese corporate culture at home and abroad. The Organizing Committee also honored and awarded certificates to 20 "Enterprises meeting Vietnamese Business Culture standards" in 2024. These are enterprises that have excellently met the standards of the Vietnamese Business Culture Criteria set selected by the National Council.

The annual national forum “Culture with enterprises” aims to realize the guidelines, policies and guidelines of the Party and State on building corporate culture, business culture, business culture, and the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country.
