With the determination of the political system and the consensus and contribution of all classes of people, up to now, Vinh Tuong district has achieved the criteria of a new rural district.

Identifying infrastructure development as a breakthrough, promoting socio-economic development, and making an important contribution to the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the district pays special attention and focuses all resources on investing in new rural infrastructure construction.

The investment capital for new rural construction is managed, allocated and used effectively by the district, ensuring compliance with regulations, prioritizing investment in essential works to serve people's lives and production development.

By the end of 2024, Vinh Tuong district had mobilized more than 9,538 billion VND for the new rural construction program, of which people contributed 6,446 billion VND, accounting for more than 67%.

Currently, 100% of communes in the district have been covered by construction planning; 100% of commune roads, village roads, and alleys have been hardened; 98% of agricultural land is actively irrigated; 99% of households have access to safe and stable electricity.

100% of schools at all levels meet national standards level 1 or higher; 100% of communes and towns have Cultural - Sports Centers, 100% of villages and residential groups have cultural houses fully equipped with essential equipment, well meeting the needs of people's daily activities and cultural - sports exchanges.

100% of communes in the district have been recognized as meeting NTM standards, including 14 communes meeting advanced NTM standards, 3 communes meeting model NTM standards, 71 villages meeting model NTM standards, 7 villages meeting smart village standards... eligible to propose for recognition as a district meeting NTM standards.

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, up to now, the whole province has had 4/9 districts and cities completing the New Rural Construction program, of which, Yen Lac district was recognized as achieving advanced New Rural Construction; 1 district met the conditions for consideration and recognition of meeting New Rural Construction standards; 100% of communes in the province were recognized as meeting New Rural Construction standards; more than 230 villages were recognized as model New Rural Construction villages, 34 villages were recognized as smart villages...

Regarding rural infrastructure, the province has solidified 100% of commune roads with more than 1,258km; 98.5% of village and alley roads with more than 1,231km, and 85% of intra-field roads with more than 1,100km.

100% of communes have irrigation systems to meet people's production needs and ensure natural disaster prevention; 96% of agricultural land is actively irrigated; 100% of households have safe and stable access to the national grid.

The province currently has more than 350 schools meeting national standards according to regulations, accounting for 72% of the total number of schools, exceeding the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress; 100% of communes have medical stations meeting regulations, 95% of people in rural areas participate in health insurance.

100% of districts have standard Cultural - Sports Centers; 100% of communes and villages have cultural houses, loudspeaker systems that meet the needs of daily life, cultural - sports exchange and information access of people with a rate of 40 - 70% of local people participating in regular activities, contributing to promoting the movement of physical education - sports, culture - arts, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​in localities.

Implementing environmental criteria in building new rural areas, the whole province has built 835.6 km of canals, exceeding 67% of the planned target; dredging and renovating 113/131 water bodies, building 14 scattered wastewater treatment stations in rural areas; the rate of waste collection in rural areas reached 86%...

The whole province has built more than 1,630 new model roads with a length of 322km. In addition, the movement of the entire population participating in environmental protection, building bright - green - clean - beautiful residential areas has contributed to changing and upgrading the appearance and landscape of rural environments in a positive direction, forming a cultural and civilized lifestyle.

Average income in rural areas reached about 63 million VND/person/year; the rate of poor households according to multidimensional criteria in rural areas decreased to 0.47%, the rate of near-poor households in multidimensional criteria decreased to 1.27%, exceeding the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

With the goal of building a civilized, modern, and unique new rural area, the province directs localities to continue mobilizing resources, focusing on implementing and maintaining new rural criteria according to Government regulations.

Improve the quality of inspection and supervision work, ensure publicity and transparency in the use of resources for new rural construction with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit".

Effectively integrate capital sources from national target programs and other provincial programs and projects to support localities in completing the goal of building new rural areas according to the set plan...
