Durian farmers in Tan Lap commune (Krong Buk district) are excited because the 2023 harvest will be a good season and good price. |
To implement this Project, the People's Committee of Krong Buk district directed the People's Committees of communes and towns to strengthen propaganda and widely disseminate regulations on management of codes for growing areas and packaging facilities for agricultural products for export so that organizations and individuals involved in the production and export of agricultural products to China know and comply. At the same time, strictly control Chinese plant quarantine subjects in growing areas and packaging facilities that have been granted codes in the locality.
People's Committees of communes and towns need to guide packaging facilities to fully implement technical measures to ensure the cleaning of harmful organisms on goods before export and have a mechanism to monitor the packaging process at packaging facilities in the area.
Up to now, the district has been granted 9 durian growing area codes (with an area of nearly 150 hectares); the district has been supporting the registration of growing area codes for 18 companies associated with Cooperatives, Cooperative Groups and households, which is 62 growing area codes (with a total area of more than 1,000 hectares).
In addition, in Krong Buk district, there is 1 packaging facility code of SKY OCEAN FOOD Import-Export Company exporting durian to the Chinese market; 3 registered packaging facility codes (waiting for the Plant Protection Department, General Administration of Customs of China to issue packaging facility codes); 24 large-scale durian and fruit purchasing facilities for export.
