On December 13, the People's Committee of Ea Ngai Commune (Krong Buk District) said that 11 students from Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School were hospitalized this morning with suspected digestive disorders.
At around 7am on December 13, in class 6A of Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School, there was a Technology class. Students practiced making salad, with ingredients including: lettuce, pineapple, apple, tomato, guava, cucumber, watermelon, honey, sugar, lemon, condensed milk, mayonnaise... All ingredients were prepared and processed by students at home.
At 7:15, the teacher asked the students to present their prepared dishes to the class. The teacher tasted all the dishes prepared by the students and commented on each dish. At 7:40, the teacher asked the students to bring their dishes back to their desks to eat in groups.

At around 7:45 a.m., some students had symptoms of stomachache and nausea. The subject teachers reported to the school's Board of Directors, coordinated with parents to take 11 students to the District Health Center, Ea Ngai Commune Health Station, Tam Phuc General Clinic (Buon Ho town) and Buon Ho Town General Hospital for examination and monitoring. After examination and treatment, the 11 students have been allowed to go home for monitoring.
Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Ea Ngai commune coordinated with the District Health Center to save food samples of students suspected of food poisoning to determine the cause.
In the 6A Technology class, there are 46 students and 1 teacher, of which 44 students eat salad.
