Building the Party in terms of politics, ideology and ethics is a very important task. That is why this content is always expressed by our Party in the documents of the Congresses, the Political Platform, the Resolutions, Directives, and Regulations of the Party... In particular, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress emphasized: "In the coming years, we must pay special attention to and further promote the comprehensive building and rectification of the Party in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres"...

In line with the above goal, over the past years, the Duc Linh District Party Committee has considered this a regular and continuous task to build a strong Party in terms of politics and ideology; creating consensus among the people in implementing the Party's policies and guidelines.

Proactively propagate and grasp the ideology of party members and people

Duc Linh District Party Committee has 56 grassroots Party organizations, including 19 grassroots Party Committees and 37 grassroots Party cells with 3,738 Party members. In recent years, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the study, research, application and development of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, closely linked to the implementation of assigned political tasks. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education, innovating propaganda methods, thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws to cadres, Party members and the people. Under the direction of the District Party Committee, every year, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department - the Standing Office of the 35 District Steering Committee advises the 35 District Steering Committee to develop a Work Plan to combat plots and activities of "peaceful evolution" in the fields of ideology and culture, protect the Party's ideological foundation, and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. Mobilize Party members and the masses to regularly post and share positive articles to refute negative information on social networks. In the work of Party building on ethics, Duc Linh District Party Committee regularly educates cadres and party members to strictly implement Regulation No. 101 of the Politburo on "Responsibility to set an example for cadres and party members, especially key leaders at all levels"; Regulation No. 55 of the Politburo on “Some immediate tasks to strengthen the exemplary role of cadres and party members”... The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee develops a plan according to the full-term and annual topics on “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle” in conjunction with strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party. Regularly pay attention to the inspection and supervision of the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (term XI, XII), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW (term XIII).

Key Results

Thanks to the focus on Party building in terms of politics, ideology and ethics, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Duc Linh district have achieved many important results. That is, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction and has developed strongly; the cultural and social fields have achieved many positive results; policies on gratitude, welfare and social security have been implemented securely. The material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved and enhanced; political security and social order and safety have been maintained. The work of Party building and building the political system from the district to the grassroots level has been constantly consolidated and strengthened; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations have been gradually improved. The quality of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees has been constantly improved; solidarity and unity within the Party has been increasingly strengthened, democracy has been promoted; positive changes have been created in the political system, creating firm trust of the people in the Party and authorities at all levels. In particular, after more than 10 years of implementing the national target program on building new rural areas, with the high determination of the entire political system, the trust, consensus and active participation of all classes of people, it has created an important driving force determining the achievements in building new rural areas. The total capital mobilized to build new rural areas to date is nearly 600 billion VND; of which people contributed nearly 15 billion VND; mobilized enterprises 136 billion VND. By 2020, Duc Linh is the first inland district of Binh Thuan province to be recognized as a rural district, creating a strong driving force to build Duc Linh district into an advanced new rural district by 2025 as set out in the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025.

In the coming time, the Duc Linh District Party Committee will continue to strongly innovate, further improve the quality of propaganda work, political and ideological education, and build a contingent of cadres and Party members who are truly pioneers and role models. Identifying ideological work as the task of all levels, sectors, and the entire political system, ideological work must take the lead. Constantly innovate the work of grasping and orienting ideology and public opinion. At the same time, resolutely fight to protect the Party's ideological foundation, refute erroneous and hostile views and bad and toxic information on the internet, social networks, etc.

It can be said that the achievements of the Duc Linh District Party Committee are thanks to the collective of the Party Committee, each cadre and Party member has innovated, improved the quality and effectiveness of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics in both theory and practice. From there, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party, as President Ho Chi Minh advised: "Ideological leadership is the most important. Within the Party and outside the Party, if we clearly recognize the new situation and understand the new tasks, then thoughts will be unified, and with unified thoughts, actions will be unified... With unified thoughts and unified actions, no matter how heavy the tasks are, no matter how difficult and complicated the work is, we will definitely win".
