The work of measuring, building a land database and adjusting changes in land records in Quang Tri province aims to create favorable conditions for people using land to register, issue land use right certificates (including first issuance; issuance of new land use right certificates), exercise the rights of land users and strengthen state management in the land sector.

In 2024, the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch has carried out the tasks of land measurement, registration, issuance of land use right certificates, construction of land database and regular adjustment of cadastral records in Dong Ha City, achieving some positive results. As of November 6, 2024, the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch has deployed in 9/9 wards with 982 land plots that have been reviewed, and a description of the boundaries and land plot markers has been established (an increase of 292 plots compared to October 16, 2024).
Of which, the preparation of the land plot boundary description has been completed (100% of adjacent land users and surveyors have been identified and signed) for 493/982 land plots (an increase of 183 plots compared to October 16, 2024); the measurement of 447/493 land plots has been completed (an increase of 173 plots compared to October 16, 2024). Accordingly, the leaders of the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch have signed and approved, issued the results of 376/447 land plots (an increase of 154 plots compared to October 16, 2024).
In addition, the cadastral engineering department has transferred the completed measurement results to the certification department to declare file 579 (including 172 rice land files with 293 plots, this file has been handed over to the Ward People's Committee for review and approval according to regulations, 286 residential land plots).
Of the 286 land plots in the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch, 23 land plots have been handed over to the Ward People's Committee to perform work contents under its authority; submitted to the One-Stop Department for processing and submitting to the competent authority to issue land use right certificates for 49 land plots; processed, submitted to the competent authority and had the competent authority sign and issue land use right certificates for 14 land plots.
According to the plan to ensure the completion of the contract content, currently the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch is focusing all human and material resources to complete, process, and submit to the competent authority to issue land use right certificates to ensure the completion of the workload according to the signed contract.
On the other hand, it is recommended that the People's Committees of wards continue to actively coordinate in the process of implementing cadastral measurement work; pay attention to reviewing and confirming registration dossiers, issuing first-time land use right certificates and dossiers with increased area that need to be registered to carry out the next steps.
Currently, the Dong Ha City Land Registration Office Branch continues to perfect the land records system as a foundation for unified, comprehensive and synchronous land management between management agencies at all levels.
By modernizing maps and cadastral records as the basis for updating cadastral databases, effectively exploiting land data information, ensuring the provision and exploitation of data for the implementation of public services, services for people and businesses, creating a foundation for the development of digital economy and digital society; making land truly an important resource serving the goals of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in Quang Tri province.
