Hoang Tien Commune receives decision to achieve model New Rural standards

After nearly 3 years of drastic implementation of solutions, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Tien commune (Hoang Hoa) have completed the program of building a model new rural commune in 2023, with the outstanding field being Education.

Representatives of provincial departments and branches attended the announcement ceremony.

On the morning of May 18, Hoang Tien commune held a ceremony to announce the decision to achieve the model new-style rural area standard in 2023. Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches, the Provincial New-style Rural Area Construction Program Coordination Office, leaders of Hoang Hoa district, and a large number of local officials, party members, and people.

Leaders of Hoang Hoa district and many officials and people of Hoang Tien commune attended the ceremony.

Determining that building a new rural area is a continuous process, after achieving the new rural and advanced rural standards, in 2021, Hoang Tien commune continued to implement the construction of a model new rural area. Along with maintaining the advanced new rural criteria, Hoang Tien commune has chosen the field of Education as the outstanding criterion. To date, all 3 schools in the area have achieved National standards level 2.

A performance at the ceremony.

During the implementation process, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the commune always identified economic development and income improvement for people as the basic foundation. Accordingly, the commune has encouraged people to change the crop structure, bringing commodity crops into concentrated production in large areas and plots, such as potatoes, sweet corn, soybeans, vegetables, chili ... At the same time, propaganda for people to develop traditional occupations, such as carpentry, construction and expand service businesses. In addition, taking advantage of the long coastline and beautiful beaches, the locality has created favorable conditions to attract businesses to invest in the tourism sector, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area.

Mr. Hac Xuan Tho, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Tien commune, briefly presented the report on building a model new rural area.

Thanks to that, Hoang Tien commune has mobilized more than 782 billion VND to build and complete the criteria of a model new-style rural commune. In 2023, the average income per capita of the whole commune will reach 73.27 million VND, the multidimensional poverty rate will reach 0.41%. Along with continuing to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria of a model new-style rural commune, Hoang Tien commune will continue to develop socio-economic infrastructure, ensure national defense and security towards the goal of becoming Hai Tien urban area in the future.

Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of Hoang Hoa district presented the Decision recognizing the commune as meeting the model new-style rural standards and a bonus to Hoang Tien commune.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of Hoang Hoa district presented the Decision recognizing the commune as meeting the model new-style rural standards along with a bonus of 1 billion VND from the Provincial People's Committee and 300 million VND from the district to the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Tien commune.

On this occasion, comrade Le Duc Giang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent a flower basket to congratulate the local Party Committee, government and people.
