
Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Director of the National Defense Academy; Comrade Nguyen Cong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province and many people of Quang Dai village, Dai Cuong commune.
According to historical data and royal decrees of the Nguyen Dynasty, Quang Dai communal house was established since the days when this land was reclaimed and settled more than 500 years ago. In the past, Quang Dai communal house was grand and majestic; in front of the communal house yard, there were many ancient trees hundreds of years old, casting their silent shade beside the communal house roof.
In early 1908, Quang Dai communal house was the gathering place for villagers as well as people from neighboring areas to launch a movement to fight against high taxes and duties imposed by French colonialists and feudal lords.
During the August Revolution of 1945, Quang Dai communal house was the first place in Dai Loc district chosen as a secret location to hide flags, slogans, political propaganda documents, and means of serving the revolution.

During the war against the US to save the country, Quang Dai communal house was devastated and severely damaged by war. In March 1999, Quang Dai communal house was restored with many items such as the main house to worship the tutelary god, ancestors, and descendants; the mausoleum to worship Lady Ngoc, the memorial temple for the heroic martyrs of Quang Dai village; Uncle Ho statue, a room reserved for reading, the three-door gate...
On November 24, 2023, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued Decision No. 2540 on ranking the Quang Dai communal house historical relic as a provincial-level relic.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh awarded the Quang Dai communal house historical relic ranking certificate to the leaders of Dai Cuong commune.
