Participating in the live-fire test were combat, transport and support ships of Brigade 127, Brigade 175 (Naval Region 5) and ships of the Standing Militia Squadron, Military Command of Kien Giang province.

Test content includes: Lesson 2e, lesson 3, lesson 4c, lesson 4d (using guns and artillery in service to destroy targets in the air and at sea during the day and at night).

During the live-fire practice, officers and soldiers of the ships strictly followed the commander's orders; skillfully operated and used weapons and technical equipment; calmly and confidently destroyed the target right from the first rounds.

The live-fire session aims to test the training results and combat readiness of the ships; the level of command and control of the ship by the staff; the key points, movements and skills in using weapons to destroy targets of the troops. On that basis, experience will be drawn and added to the combat plans and training plans of the units in the coming time.
