CNN. The 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics goes to three scientists Pierre Agostini (USA), Ferenc Krausz (Germany) and Anne L'Huillier (Sweden) for "experimental methods of generating attosecond light pulses to study electron dynamics in materials".

UNICEF. More than 1 million children and 31,000 teachers are unable to return to class in Burkina Faso due to violence and insecurity, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said.
