After Tuoi Tre Online 's reflection, the leaders of the Transport Hospital said they had verified the information and had taken disciplinary action against the violating staff.

Specifically, the hospital reviewed the personal responsibility of Ms. NHH - the accountant who collected medical examination fees from workers going abroad through her personal account. The hospital issued a decision to discipline Ms. H with a warning, delay her salary increase, and transfer her job position.

At the same time, the hospital also criticized the leaders and staff of the finance and accounting department and the health clinic for lacking close supervision, allowing the incident to occur.

The hospital also requires company representatives to sign health check contracts and commit to fully comply with work regulations and install additional surveillance cameras in the reception area.

Similarly, at Hanoi National University Hospital, the hospital leadership also said that they have seriously learned from management experience, clearly defining the responsibilities of practitioners, departments, and individuals involved. The two officers, Ms. L. and Ms. T., who violated the regulations were temporarily suspended from work, had a self-criticism written, and were transferred to other jobs.

At the same time, after the incident, the hospital increased surveillance and installed additional cameras to support daily observation of medical examinations and issuance of health certificates.

Ministry of Health: Requires hospitals to post and publicize health examination prices

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of November 21, Mr. Vuong Anh Duong, deputy director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health), said that immediately after receiving the feedback, the department issued an urgent document requesting the two hospitals to verify and rectify medical examination and treatment work.

Mr. Duong affirmed that collecting medical examination fees through personal accounts is not in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

"The reports of the two hospitals show that the hospitals have seriously handled violations, reviewed regulations, and rectified health examinations for people going abroad at the hospital," said Mr. Duong.

Regarding state management, the leader of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management said that the Ministry of Health regularly issues documents directing medical facilities to properly implement regulations in health examinations for drivers, workers, etc.

"The Ministry also established inspection teams to inspect medical examination and treatment at hospitals. At the same time, it assigned health departments to coordinate inspections of medical facilities in the area.

The Department also requires units to seriously publicize and post health examination prices to ensure people's rights when having health examinations at medical facilities," Mr. Duong informed.
