On May 27, Mr. Le Thanh Hung, General Director of VRG, sent a document to the group's member units regarding the house and land facility at 39-39B Ben Van Don (Ward 12, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City).
Accordingly, the house and land at No. 39-39B Ben Van Don originated from SIIV Company (under the French Republic, directly investing and exploiting Dong Nai Rubber Plantation) and was requisitioned by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and assigned to the General Department of Rubber (later the Vietnam Rubber Group) for direct management and use for production and business according to Decision No. 04/QD dated January 19, 1976.
After receiving it, the General Department of Rubber assigned it to Dong Nai Rubber Company for management and use. In October 1995, Dong Nai Rubber Company handed over 827.9 m2 to Ba Ria Rubber Company (address 39B Ben Van Don); the remaining area managed by Dong Nai Rubber Company is 5,374 m2 (address 39 Ben Van Don).

In 2009, implementing the arrangement plan, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation and Ba Ria Rubber Company contributed capital to establish Phu Viet Tin Company Limited to manage and implement the apartment project (In which: Dong Nai Rubber Corporation contributed more than 4.3 billion VND, accounting for 72%; Ba Ria Rubber Company contributed 1.680 billion VND, accounting for 28%). After that, Phu Viet Tin Company Limited did not implement the project and Dong Nai Rubber Corporation and Ba Ria Rubber Company transferred shares in Phu Viet Tin Company Limited to other investors.
Recently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency (C03) issued Decision No. 33/QD-CSKT-P5 to prosecute the criminal case of "Violating regulations on management and use of State assets causing loss and waste" occurring at the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, Dong Nai Rubber Company, Ba Ria Rubber Company and related units regarding violations at the 39-39B Ben Van Don land project.
"Currently, the Group continues to work with relevant authorities in a serious and receptive spirit to request relevant units and individuals to correct their violations. At the same time, the Group requests that member units encourage officers, employees, and workers to work with peace of mind. Trust in the Group's leadership to focus on performing the unit's production and business tasks in the best way and be determined to fulfill the highest production and business plan targets for 2024." - the document stated.
Currently, VRG is preparing to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese rubber industry (October 28, 1929 - October 28, 2024). VRG calls on all cadres, employees, and workers to compete in production, unite, strive to overcome difficulties, best complete the assigned plan, and contribute to building a sustainable rubber industry.
