Designer Vo Viet Chung shared the reason for collaborating with musician Trinh Nam Son: " The Green Road is a song associated with my youth, and is also a source of inspiration for me on my path to pursuing art.

I have admired musician Trinh Nam Son since I was a student, I once dreamed of meeting him and designing an ao dai for him, now that wish has come true."

Designer Vo Viet Chung chose a color scheme suitable for gentlemen to wear at many different events.

Vo Viet Chung has been a designer associated with Ao Dai for over 20 years. He has received the Mai Vang Award 5 times in the category of Excellent Designer.

In 2007, Vo Viet Chung was awarded the UNESCO Prize for his contributions to restoring and developing Lanh My A and preserving Vietnamese cultural traditions through the national ao dai.

In 2020, Vo Viet Chung was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal, also the first fashion designer to receive the medal.
