Vingroup achieved after-tax profit in the first 9 months of 2024 of more than 4,000 billion VND

Vingroup Corporation (stock code VIC) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2024 with positive business results.

According to the consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2024, Vingroup Corporation achieved a total consolidated net revenue of VND 126,916 billion in the first 9 months of 2024, recording positive changes in all main business pillars including industry, residential real estate, tourism - resorts and entertainment. Consolidated profit after tax in the first 9 months of 2024 reached VND 4,069 billion, 2.6 times higher than the same period last year.

As of September 30, Vingroup's total assets reached VND 791,474 billion, up 18.5% compared to the end of 2023. In the first 9 months of this year, VinFast delivered 44,260 electric cars, marking an impressive growth of 108% over the same period in 2023. Specifically, in the third quarter of 2024, VinFast delivered 21,912 cars, up 66% compared to the second quarter of 2024 and up 116% over the same period last year. Notably, in Vietnam, last September marked an important milestone for VinFast when it officially became the No. 1 best-selling car brand with more than 9,300 cars delivered to consumers, surpassing foreign car brands in the domestic market. In the coming time, VinFast will accelerate the delivery of at least 20,000 VF 3 vehicles this year, while continuing to focus on optimizing cost and resource management, improving operational and business efficiency. This is a strong premise for VinFast to complete the plan of delivering 80,000 vehicles in 2024.
