Viktor Le is ready to compete
On March 6, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced the list of the first round of the Vietnam U.22 team in 2025. This is an important round for the coaching staff to make a preliminary assessment of the quality of the players through the CFA Team China 2025 international football tournament organized by the Chinese Football Federation from March 20 to March 25 in Jiangsu, with the participation of 4 U.22 teams: Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Korea and host China. And Viktor Le is one of the selected people.
Viktor Le is highly appreciated for his speed, dexterity, modern football thinking and enthusiasm.

In the group of central midfielders, Viktor Le is a prominent name. At Ha Tinh Club this season, he was given many opportunities by coach Nguyen Thanh Cong when he played 13 times and scored 1 goal. However, to be able to take the starting position, the Russian-born midfielder must compete with a series of formidable opponents such as Nguyen Van Truong (Hanoi Club), Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong (HCMC Club) or Dinh Xuan Tien, Nguyen Quang Vinh (SLNA)...
However, Viktor Le is ready to face the challenge. He shared with Thanh Nien Newspaper: "Before the list was announced, I was also looking forward to being called up to the Vietnam U.22 team and further, to competing at the 33rd SEA Games. I will try to perform well because football is about competition."
Family Supported
Before being called up, Viktor Le had obtained Vietnamese nationality in early 2025. He shared: "My father is Vietnamese, so the process of becoming a Vietnamese citizen was quite easy for me. I am of Vietnamese origin, with Vietnamese blood running through me, so having nationality was a natural thing. I also adapted to everything like the climate and cuisine very quickly, which are different from Russia. I love the long beaches with white sand in Vietnam. I think I will live here for a long time."
Viktor Le faced his idol Mac Hong Quan in the match between Ha Tinh and Binh Dinh clubs at Quy Nhon stadium last season.

Growing up from CSKA Moscow's training center, Viktor Le has a good foundation and starting point to pursue a professional football career. He even has the opportunity to develop his career in Europe. The midfielder born in 2003 recalled: "Previously, I went to Italy with the Torpedo team to compete in a tournament with 50 participating teams. At that time, I thought we would have to return home early but unexpectedly won the championship. After that, the organizers continued to invite us to compete. The coach also told me to play carefully because many scouts came to watch live."
Viktor Le also received attention, but in the end he still chose to return to Vietnam: "I think Dang Van Lam and Mac Hong Quan are examples for young overseas Vietnamese players to follow. At that time, I was also encouraged by my parents when I decided to seek opportunities to assert myself in my homeland. I know coach Nguyen Duc Thang (who used to lead Viktor Le at Binh Dinh Club) as well as coach Nguyen Thanh Cong because they gave me many opportunities."
