Viettel brings 2 signal boosters to the admission and career counseling festival in Hanoi

Mobile signal booster vehicles are placed at the festival area from March 15.

Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Hanoi University of Science and Technology's facilities department - said that the Admissions and Career Counseling Festival held in Hanoi every year attracts 15,000 - 20,000 students, parents and teachers.

When there are too many people, mobile information transmission stations serving subscribers making calls and using 4G are overloaded, have poor connection or lose signal.

Therefore, every year the event takes place, a signal booster vehicle must be placed at Hanoi University of Science and Technology to serve candidates, parents and teachers attending the festival, but it is still not enough to meet the demand.

To ensure a smooth network, this year Hanoi University of Science and Technology proposed that Viettel send two signal boosters because of the large number of candidates coming to the information fair.

"Since March 15, Viettel has brought two signal booster trucks to Hanoi University of Science and Technology to connect fiber optic cables and increase the signal for the festival. Of the two vehicles mobilized to increase the signal, one is parked at Ta Quang Buu library and the other is parked near C9 stadium to serve more subscribers. The signal booster truck will provide free service until the end of the event," said Mr. Cuong.

From 7am, Sunday, March 17, the Admissions and Career Counseling Day will take place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The program is organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in coordination with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the General Department of Vocational Education ( Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs ), and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with the support of Vingroup Corporation.

This year’s festival continues to break the record for the number of consulting booths from last year with nearly 280 consulting booths from colleges and universities. Last year, also in Hanoi, the program attracted 250 consulting booths - considered the largest number in more than a decade of this festival in Hanoi.

At the festival, at the general consultation session, the advisory board including representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology... will provide the latest information, answer all questions about high school graduation exams and university and college admissions in 2024.

In addition, nearly 280 private consulting booths with a large number of consultants will be a great opportunity for students and parents to receive 1-1 consultation, orientation, and choose a career that suits their abilities and interests.

In particular, in the opening part of the program, students will meet the "cool mountain rapper" - Double2T, the champion of Rap Viet, promising many attractive performances.

This year is also the first year that students attending the festival will experience the TSA test. The TSA test experience area will be located in Hall C1, including 10 TSA test experience cabins. All students attending the program can register for the experience.

The Hanoi National University Examination Center will also be present at the festival to answer all questions from students and parents about the competency assessment exam such as: exam registration, exam date, procedures for entering the exam room, how to take the exam, universities using competency assessment exam scores for university admission...
