Vietnam Airlines, together with Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism and Cam Ranh International Airport, solemnly held a ceremony to welcome the 9 millionth passenger on flight VN441 from Incheon to Cam Ranh, operated by Airbus A321. The event marked an important milestone for both Vietnam Airlines and Khanh Hoa tourism. At exactly 9:50 a.m. on October 1, flight VN441 of Vietnam Airlines from Incheon International Airport (South Korea) landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. A special water cannon salute was performed, in place of Cam Ranh Airport's greeting to the passengers. On this special flight, representatives of the provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines presented meaningful gifts and round-trip Business Class tickets from Incheon to Cam Ranh to the 9 millionth passenger. At the same time, to express gratitude, Vietnam Airlines also gave away round-trip Economy Class tickets from Incheon to Cam Ranh to the two lucky passengers numbered 8,999,999 and 9,000,001. All passengers on the flight received special souvenirs from the airline. Vietnam Airlines is one of the first international airlines to open flights to Nha Trang when it recognized the tourism development potential of Khanh Hoa province. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 3.6 million, an increase of 147.9% over the same period. Domestic passengers are estimated at 5.4 million, up 27.2% over the same period.
