Vietnam Airlines welcomes "super wide-body aircraft" Boeing 787-10

Vietnam Airlines' super wide-body Boeing 787-10 has just officially landed at Noi Bai airport. This is the 5th Boeing 787-10 and the 30th wide-body aircraft to join the national airline's fleet. The aircraft reception event was solemnly held at Noi Bai with special ceremonies.
With the addition of the Boeing 787-10, it continues to affirm its pioneering position in the Vietnamese aviation industry. The Boeing 787-10 is one of the newest and most modern versions of the Boeing Group's wide-body aircraft "family". It is also the largest passenger aircraft in Vietnam today with a length of over 68 meters, a commercial payload of 56-60 tons and a maximum flight range of nearly 12,000km. The aircraft has a configuration of 367 seats with 2 Business Class (24 seats) and Economy Class (343 seats). The aircraft has outstanding advantages such as spacious space, comfortable seats and a modern entertainment system. LED lighting, air humidity and pressure are optimized to bring a pleasant feeling to passengers. Business Class seats are arranged in a staggered fishbone pattern and can be completely reclined, helping passengers enjoy a spacious and private space on thousands of miles of journeys. In addition, passengers appreciate the Boeing 787-10 for its additional amenities such as personal screens with a variety of entertainment programs that are regularly updated, windows with 5 light modes, reading lights, USB ports built into the seats, and larger legroom and luggage compartments. Photo: VNA Notably, the new generation aircraft is famous for its fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness thanks to the integration of advanced technology that reduces 25% of fuel per seat and emissions compared to previous generation aircraft. With the receipt of the new Boeing 787-10 aircraft, Vietnam Airlines now owns a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft. Of which, the wide-body fleet has a total of 05 Boeing 787-10; 11 Boeing 787-9 and 14 Airbus A350. The fleet is continuously expanded to help Vietnam Airlines ensure capacity to serve passengers during peak periods. This is especially meaningful in the context of the aviation industry's shortage of aircraft due to the impact of manufacturers recalling aircraft engines globally.
