It is known that this is the first time that the largest business delegation from Saudi Arabia has come to Vietnam to explore the market. How do you evaluate the opportunities for trade connection and increased cooperation between businesses of the two countries from this event?
In my opinion, this is a very important event, which is of great interest to the government agencies and businesses of both countries. The event is also a great opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to exchange and connect with this Arabic-speaking market.
Currently, there are about 422 million Arabic speakers in the world, along with more than 1.6 billion Muslims. However, in reality, Vietnam receives very few Arab tourists.
Established for 12 years, in the near future, Vietkingtravel is planning to build its own products specifically for Arabs coming to Vietnam.
When we heard that the largest Saudi Arabian business delegation was coming to Vietnam, we immediately showed up. I hope Vietkingtravel will take advantage of this opportunity to welcome more tourists from this large market.

What do you think about the potential for cooperation between businesses of the two countries in the tourism sector?
In my opinion, the potential for cooperation and tourism development between the two countries is huge. Currently, many Vietnamese tourists “knock on the door” of our company to ask about Saudi Arabia tourism. However, there is no unit specializing in organizing tours to this country.
Recently, Vietkingtravel has developed a high-quality human resource segment, including masters who are teaching and researching Arabic language and culture at the University of Foreign Languages (Hanoi National University), along with many international students who have studied in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries, all of whom are fluent in Arabic.
With such careful preparation, I believe that Vietkingtravel can exploit the Saudi Arabia market well in the coming time.
As mentioned above, Vietkingtravel has prepared to enter Saudi Arabia - a market full of potential but also full of challenges. Can you share more about this?
First of all , about people, Vietkingtravel's staff has Arabic speakers, who studied abroad in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Therefore, our staff understands the culture of Arabs and the Middle East region.

Second , we worked with restaurants and hotels to prepare food and drinks suitable for Arabs. We also learned about Halal food, notes on designing points specifically for Arabs... To welcome guests from this market, each hotel room will have signs and arrangements, decoration according to their culture.
Through contact with some Saudi Arabian businesses, how do you see the interest of Saudi Arabian businesses in the Vietnamese market?
Saudi Arabian businesses are not only interested but also very serious about learning about the Vietnamese market. As evidenced by this event, the largest business delegation of Saudi Arabia chose Vietnam as the next destination after Thailand (in 2022).
