(Fatherland) - On November 27, in Hanoi, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi province coordinated with agencies to organize the Cultural Exchange and Tourism Promotion Program of Guangxi (China) 2024.
The event was held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the year of Vietnam-China humanities exchange.
At the same time, promote Guangxi's cultural and tourism resources and tourism development potential, strengthen in-depth practical cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism, and promote cross-border tourism development between Guangxi and localities of Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Tran Dich Quan - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, emphasized that Vietnam and China have a long-standing and strong relationship.
"Under the leadership of the two Parties and two States, that close relationship is becoming increasingly closer. Today's event contributes to concretizing the policies of the two Parties and States and deepening that relationship," said Ms. Tran Dich Quan.
According to Ms. Tran Dich Quan, Guangxi and Vietnam are geographically close, culturally connected, have great mutual cultural and tourism resources, and have extremely open potential for cooperation.
In recent years, with the attention and support of the governments of Vietnam and China, cultural and tourism cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam has become increasingly deeper and achieved many outstanding results.

According to Deputy Minister Hu An Phong, cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China, including Guangxi province, is a relationship rich in tradition, an objective need and an important priority for Vietnam. This event is extremely important, contributing to further promoting cultural and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Guangxi.
Deputy Minister Hu An Phong affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is ready to closely coordinate with China and the Guangxi Department of Culture and Tourism to organize the Vietnam Cultural Tourism Week in China; jointly research and develop red tourism routes, actively participate in China-ASEAN Expo tourism exhibition areas and other activities. At the same time, actively build a Vietnam-China friendship community of strategic importance to the common future.

Introducing the domestic tourism route "Winter Tour to Guangxi", specially developed for Vietnamese tourists, within the framework of the program, there was also a signing ceremony of cross-border tourism cooperation between: Guangxi Lufa Tourism Group Co., Ltd., Nanning International Travel Co., Ltd., Lujia Le (China) with Kim Lien International Joint Stock Company, Hon Gai Tourism Service Co., Ltd. and PYS Travel Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
The two sides will work together to promote cross-border tourism products, tourist transportation and the common market, and promote them more widely to Vietnamese tourists in the fourth quarter of this year. The quarterly winter tour to Guangxi opens a new chapter in China-Vietnam cross-border tourism cooperation.

On the sidelines of the promotion conference, there is also an area displaying photos of Guangxi cultural tourism products, an area to experience intangible cultural heritage such as: Luc Bao Tea, a landscape check-in area, and an area for exchange and cooperation of representatives of 10 Guangxi tourism companies.
