This is both an opportunity to spread the message of environmental protection to the community and an opportunity for people to see more clearly the current environmental situation.
In Hanoi, nearly 200 volunteers participated in the event on Pham Hung Street (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi).
When participating, volunteers were trained on how to classify waste and instructions on safety when collecting waste. Volunteers participating in the Hanoi area are quite diverse in age, from children, to students, and even the elderly.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Son - representative of Let's Do It Vietnam, the organizer, shared: "Let's Do It Vietnam calls on agencies, ministries, sectors, organizations and individuals to join hands and participate in ending the current waste situation.
Let's start sorting trash right at home, school, and workplace. Every small action of ours contributes to creating a friendly, civilized, and waste-free Hanoi."
