On September 22, mobile phone retailers in Vietnam officially allowed customers to pre-order genuine iPhone 15 series. It is expected that the Vietnamese market will receive the device on September 29.
Speaking to reporters from the Journalist and Public Opinion Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS store chain, said that this year, the Vietnamese market was "favored" to open for sale much earlier than in previous years, just one week after major markets opened for sale.

Mr. Huy said that for iPhone 12 series models and earlier, "genuine" goods usually have to wait at least 1 month, but the waiting period has been shortened with each iPhone generation.
“This creates a clear competitive advantage over hand-carried goods in terms of quality, warranty and quantity. The selling prices of genuine products this year are no longer much different, the selling prices were very good from the beginning,” said Mr. Huy.
According to Mr. Huy, although the design is not really a breakthrough compared to the previous generation, many customers said they are willing to spend money to "upgrade" to the iPhone 15 series.
A representative of the CellphoneS store chain revealed that Apple launched the iPhone 15 series on September 13. Since its launch, the number of customers registering to order the iPhone 15 series has reached more than 20,000, an increase of 156% compared to the iPhone 14 series last year.
Therefore, in the first batch of orders from September 22 to September 28, there will be about 12,000 to 15,000 orders. Notably, on the first day of pre-order sales, the number of orders for the first day is about more than 5,000 orders, 40% of customers have registered to buy. Because some models were sold out within minutes of opening for sale, such as iPhone 15 Pro Max Titan Natural - the most attractive model, accounting for 60% of customers registered to buy in the first batch, the number of orders will not be able to reach all customers registered to buy.
Therefore, Mr. Huy is optimistic that the iPhone 15 series will continue to grow in sales compared to the previous generation, with the predicted figure possibly being around 40-50%.

"It is possible that in the initial stage of sales, the shortage of goods/scarcity of goods will continue like previous years, especially when the markets of countries that have opened sales before are all experiencing shortages of goods," said Mr. Huy.
