While information about everything in the iOS 18 upgrade that will be officially released later this year is still hot, the iPhone 16 hardware design is also continuously leaked. This time it is a video that is said to be a case for the iPhone model that will be released next September.

The video, posted on X by Ice Universe , a reliable source of information about upcoming technology products, shows that the new revelation matches previous leaks about the iPhone 16.

Based on the video, it appears to be a case for the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus, as it's difficult to tell the size of the device from the video. The case shows a dual-lens rear camera cluster, suggesting that this could only be the standard or "Plus" iPhone model.

There is still a lot of conflicting information about the size of the iPhone 16 Plus. According to leaked news up to now, every iPhone model launched this year can change the screen size, of which the iPhone 16 Pro Max can have the largest screen ever, up to 6.9 inches.

Whether this is a case for the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus, both models have the same design. The only difference between the two iPhone versions is the size and screen specifications along with battery capacity.

Users can recognize the rear camera cluster layout of the device with the lenses arranged vertically instead of the diagonal module like on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. With the vertical camera arrangement, Apple is expected to bring the spatial video recording feature to the standard ‌iPhone 16‌ and ‌iPhone 16‌ Plus models.

At the same time, TechNetBook has just posted a photo of the iPhone 16 cases. The photo also shows the rear camera cluster of the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus stacked vertically. The new camera arrangement is perfectly positioned to optimize spatial video recording, as the lenses are placed side by side to mimic the position of the human eye when the device is held in landscape mode.

In the second photo shared by TechNetBook , the cases show the appearance of an Action button to replace the traditional mute switch on the iPhone. This button is already present on the iPhone 15 Pro and will apparently be applied to all iPhone 16.

Additionally, a cutout below the power button on the right edge hints at a dedicated shutter button ( Capture button), which is said to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max versions.

The rumored Capture button will function like the shutter button on a professional camera with touch sensitivity and zoom control, giving users more control over their shots and even the ability to adjust the zoom on the fly.
