(Dan Tri) - Apple once hoped that the artificial intelligence features equipped on the iPhone would help attract more customers. However, in reality, users were not too impressed with these features.
Apple's artificial intelligence (AI) features were first equipped by Apple for iPhone users on the iOS 18 platform, which was launched at the end of October. Up to now, only the iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max series can use these AI features because they meet the configuration requirements.
Apple once expected AI features to help create a highlight on its iPhone series, helping to attract users and compete with other rivals in the mobile market.

However, real user experiences show that Apple Intelligence features are not really attractive, and many people even say that these features do not bring as many benefits as Apple advertises.
Technology exchange website SellCell conducted a survey of iPhone users about the Apple Intelligence features equipped on the product.
The survey found that 73% of iPhone users said that the AI features equipped on the iPhone "provide little or no value" during the use of the device. 58.4% of them have not even tried any of the Apple Intelligence features on the iPhone.
SellCell's survey also found that 47.6% of iPhone users are interested in AI features and decided to buy a new iPhone because of these features.
Survey results show that many users were very hopeful and excited about the AI features equipped on the iPhone, but then they were disappointed when they realized that these features were not really impressive or did not bring many benefits in work and life as they expected.
Accordingly, 72% of people said that the AI feature integrated into the "Writing Tools" application is really useful; 54% of users appreciate the "Notification Summary" feature using AI.
44.5% of users love the "Prioritized Messages" feature; 29.1% of people like the "Cleanup in Photos" feature using AI, 20.9% of users find the "Smart Reply" feature using AI on the Mail and Messages apps useful.
Notably, only 3.1% of users found the AI-integrated Siri virtual assistant useful and tried this feature, even though Apple had previously placed high expectations on this feature.
The survey also found that not many users are willing to switch to other phone brands because of AI features. Only 16.8% of iPhone users said they would consider switching to Samsung phones if the AI features were smarter.
Meanwhile, only 9.7% of Samsung smartphone users consider switching to iPhone for the same reason.
