On April 17, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , an officer of the National Training Center for Counter-Terrorism (Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security) said that on the new uniforms of special police there are many patches such as the red flag with yellow star symbol, badges, blood type patches, name tags, ranks...

"The patch under the national flag with prominent red letters on the sleeves of special police officers is the blood type symbol of each person," the officer informed.

An officer at the National Training Center for Counter-Terrorism said that although this patch is a small detail, it is extremely important to special forces soldiers.

"When special police officers chase criminals, fight on the battlefield... sometimes they are unfortunately injured and need an emergency blood transfusion, but at that time there may not be blood type testing equipment.

Military doctors and medical staff only need to look at the blood type sticker to immediately identify and choose the right blood for transfusion, saving the soldier's life without wasting time on testing," said the officer.

In addition, the blood type stickers also demonstrate the professionalism of the special police force and the concern for the lives of soldiers.

The National Training Center on Counter-Terrorism Prevention and Control under the Mobile Police Command was newly established in February 2022.

The unit was assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to organize training and fostering on counter-terrorism work, be ready to respond to and resolve situations of terrorism, sabotage, armed riots, especially dangerous criminals, participate in emergency rescue, etc.

Here, special forces soldiers must train their physical strength every day, with high-intensity exercises such as armed tire-pulling running, carrying wood, and running together...

In particular, special forces soldiers are also trained and practiced in all combat tactics, martial arts movements, shooting, disguise, camouflage... to adapt to all situations, anytime, anywhere, ready to fight.
