President Vo Van Thuong, former President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, many leaders of ministries, departments and the family of musician Van Cao attended. In particular, Ms. Thuy Bang - musician Van Cao's wife, despite her old age and poor health, still attended the program from beginning to end. In addition, many artists, intellectuals and Van Cao's music lovers were also present at the Hanoi Opera House and the August Revolution Square to both attend the program and act as "extras".

One thing is that before that, in the press conference announcing the program, the organizers announced that singer Anh Tuyet would participate. Anh Tuyet is considered the most successful singer of Van Cao's music. Participating in the program, the female singer from Quang will perform "Buon Tan Thu" - a song that has brought her a lot of success in major music programs.
Sharing with Dan Viet , singer Anh Tuyet said that she was very excited and emotional when she was invited to participate in the program "Dan Chim Viet" - celebrating the 100th anniversary of musician Van Cao's birth. She had prepared everything to fly to Hanoi to practice and perform when she encountered a health problem. She had to be injected with medicine and given an IV in hopes of making it to Hanoi in time, but in the end she still couldn't. She had to apologize to the organizers and the audience and hoped for their forgiveness.

Van Cao's music night impresses with grand scenes
In the program "Dan chim Viet", although there were some good and bad points in the music and the performance of the artists, the stage and the "grand scenes" left a lot of impressions. In particular, the performances Tien ve Ha Noi and Tien quan ca were staged into an unprecedented grand scene with the participation of hundreds of actors and audiences.
The performance vividly recreated the scene of "army after troops marching like waves/ layer upon layer of troops marching" in the song Tien ve Ha Noi by Van Cao on the day of the Capital Liberation, October 10, 1954. 69 years ago, at the August Revolution Square - in front of the Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi streets were filled with flags and flowers, the people of the capital rushed out to the streets to welcome the troops returning from the war zone, just like the lyrics that musician Van Cao wrote.
Before that, the audience inside the Hanoi Opera House was amazed when the grand "harvest day" scene of harvesting and drying rice was recreated on stage. Village girls in traditional four-panel dresses and crow-beak scarves "carried rice back and forth layer upon layer" continuously walking on both sides of the aisle under the theater auditorium.

In addition to the music, the lobby of the Hanoi Opera House also displayed many portraits of musician Van Cao taken by photographer Dinh Toan. These photos have been published in a number of publications and exhibitions, but some were also published for the first time. Many audiences were impressed when they saw these authentic portraits of musician Van Cao.
