Ms. Do Thu Giang, representative of AMO Vietnam - the organizer of the play, said that to bring the pantomime Beauty and the beast to Vietnam this time, singer Lee Brennan played an important role. Ms. Giang said: "The British unit that cooperated with me this time is also the unit that Lee has performed pantomime for 10 years. If I had gone to the British production unit alone and expressed my desire to bring pantomime to Vietnam, they would have refused immediately. But luckily, I have Lee, a proof that can guarantee that I can carry out pantomime in Vietnam. That is the first step to make the British unit agree to produce pantomime in our country".

As a co-organizer of this tour in Vietnam, singer Lee Brennan assisted the organizers in casting actors. In addition, the male singer also advised Ms. Giang in choosing the play Beauty and the Beast to present to Vietnamese audiences.

According to Ms. Giang, the fact that Lee Brennan has been to Vietnam before also helps to ensure that the British actors are less worried. The cast of Beauty and the Beast includes Michael Auger (a member of the Collabro musical group, who won the championship). Britain's Got Talent season 8). Initially, Auger was hesitant when he was invited to participate. However, when he saw the success of the 911 group in Vietnam, Auger looked forward to the opportunity to collaborate with a Vietnamese artist. Ms. Giang commented that Vietnam is a market that artists in the UK want to go to.

On his personal Facebook page, Lee Brennan excitedly shared about the process of bringing pantomime to Vietnam. He said: "After many late phone calls with Vietnam, meetings in the UK, my Vietnamese business partner flew to the UK to attend more meetings, then organized workshops in Vietnam for students to learn about British panto, read scripts, transform into characters, sing songs, practice dances, the idea gradually became a reality".

A member of the 911 group said that the British crew and cast arrived in Vietnam on the evening of November 28 to prepare for the tour in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. In addition, two Vietnamese artists will also participate in the play. The scenery, costumes, techniques... have all been transferred from the UK to Vietnam. "This is a big project and it's great to see everything take shape. I watched a full rehearsal of the play in London (UK) and everything was really great. Panto Beauty and the Beast is scheduled to take place at Hoa Binh Theater (HCMC) from December 6 to 8 and Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi) from December 13 to 17.
