This figure was reported at the National Conference to review inspection and supervision work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024, organized by the Central Inspection Commission on the morning of December 27.
Reporting on the results of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work in 2023, the Central Inspection Commission said that Party committees at all levels inspected 57,486 Party organizations and nearly 324,000 Party members.

Through inspections when there were signs of violations, the Inspection Committees at all levels concluded that 284 Party organizations and more than 3,000 Party members had to be disciplined. Of these, the agencies disciplined 216 Party organizations and 2,645 Party members.
Through handling complaints and denunciations against party organizations and party members, Party committees at all levels determined that 4 party organizations and 46 party members had committed violations and shortcomings, of which 37 party members and 4 party organizations had to be disciplined.
Inspection Committees at all levels also inspected and supervised the declaration of assets and income of more than 7,300 party members, concluding that 239 party members violated and had shortcomings.

Regarding the enforcement of party organization and party member discipline, the Inspection Committees at all levels have disciplined 183 party organizations and 6,302 party members, including 1,975 committee members (accounting for 31.34%).
Of which, the Central Inspection Commission disciplined 29 party organizations and 65 party members; while the Inspection Commissions of localities and units disciplined 154 party organizations and 6,237 party members.

Regarding the direction and tasks for 2024, the Central Inspection Commission said it will continue to review, revise, supplement, and perfect regulations, rules, guidelines, and procedures on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline work to ensure consistency, strictness, and compliance with Party regulations and practical conditions.
According to the Party's inspection agency, the determination of directions, tasks, and the development of inspection and supervision programs and plans must be feasible, practical, and appropriate to the conditions and situations of the locality and unit. In particular, the unit must thoroughly grasp the motto that supervision must be expanded and inspection must be focused and key.
The Central Inspection Commission emphasized the direction of strengthening inspection and supervision of the prevention and fight against corruption, negativity, and waste; and the implementation of Party regulations and State laws.
Notably, the inspection agency will focus on inspections when there are signs of violations in areas prone to corruption, negativity, prominent issues, internal disunity, especially signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; violations in specialized areas, closed activities.
