Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee met to celebrate the 75th anniversary of its tradition.

On the afternoon of October 13, the Inspection Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Party Inspection sector's tradition day (October 16, 1948 - October 16, 2023).

Attending the event were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of the Ha Tinh Party Inspection Department through the periods.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong reviewed the glorious history of the Party Inspection sector over 75 years of establishment and development.

Right from the early days of its establishment, our Party has clearly recognized the importance of inspection work in ensuring strict implementation of goals, ideals, platforms, strategies, guidelines, policies, directives and resolutions; at the same time, strengthening the maintenance of discipline and solidarity within the Party.

At the end of 1948, based on the requirements of the Party building task and maintaining discipline within the Party, on October 16, 1948, in the Viet Bac War Zone, the Party Central Committee Standing Committee issued a Resolution to establish the Central Inspection Committee - the first specialized inspection agency of the Party. Later, the 8th Politburo decided to take October 16, 1948 as the traditional day, marking the first milestone in the journey of building and developing the Party Inspection sector.

Over the past 75 years, under the leadership and direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels, inspection committees at all levels have comprehensively performed their tasks according to the Party Charter, proactively advised and organized the implementation of tasks assigned by Party committees.

The inspection staff is always united, upholds principles, is proactive in their approach; implements the principles of concentration, democracy, and timeliness in the spirit of objectivity, impartiality, prudence, determination, and takes construction as the main goal.

Former Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Thach spoke at the meeting.

Continuing and promoting the glorious tradition of the industry, the inspection committees at all levels in the entire Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee always closely follow the political tasks and Party building work in each revolutionary period, focusing on improving the quality of work to meet the requirements of the task.

Immediately after its establishment (1957), the organization and apparatus of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and all levels were gradually improved and developed rapidly in both quantity and quality.

At the meeting, delegates representing generations of cadres working in the inspection sector of the provincial Party Committee reviewed the glorious tradition of 75 years of building and growing of the Party Inspection sector; shared experiences in the work and expressed their determination to contribute to building the Party Inspection sector of the province.

Informing about the socio-economic situation of the province in recent times, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that the Party Inspection sector's cadres would closely follow the assigned functions and tasks; strengthen inspection and supervision work in all fields; develop and well implement the annual and term-long inspection and supervision programs and plans.

In inspection and supervision, we must demonstrate both strictness and ensure humanity to educate, prevent, and stop early and from afar signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres, party members, and party committees at all levels.

Focus on inspecting and supervising the implementation of resolutions, directives, regulations and rules of the Central Committee on Party building work; specialized resolutions of the province and contents and fields that are prone to violations.

Focus on inspection and supervision of party organizations, party members, heads of agencies, localities and units in the performance of duties, working regulations, principles of democratic centralism, maintaining moral qualities, lifestyle, preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Proactively detect and inspect when there are signs of violations; avoid situations of deference, avoidance and fear of conflict. Timely resolve complaints and petitions from party organizations and party members.

Party committees at all levels must regularly take care of perfecting the organization and apparatus, building a team to ensure quantity and constantly improve quality. Each inspector must regularly train himself in working style and capacity, maintain moral qualities and lifestyle, be truly exemplary, impartial, objective, and courageous, and meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Thereby contributing to building a clean and strong Party; bringing the policies and resolutions of the Central and the province into life.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission awarded certificates of merit from the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission to officials of the Provincial Party Inspection Department who have worked for 25 years or more in the Party Inspection Department.
