The Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued a document on strengthening propaganda and mobilizing the priority use of Vietnamese goods and products produced in the province.
In the past time, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the government, the participation of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations, localities and units have focused on leading, directing and propagating, mobilizing cadres and people to prioritize purchasing and using domestically produced products, products in the province, OCOP products... However, the propaganda and mobilization work in some localities and units is not really good, the efficiency is not high; there are still agencies, units and cadres, civil servants, public employees... who have not really prioritized purchasing and using domestically produced goods, products in the province and OCOP products that have been ranked.
Luan Nghiep fish sauce product of Chien Thang Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative (Ky Ninh commune, Ky Anh town) has achieved 4-star OCOP standard.
In order to effectively implement Directive No. 12-CT/TU dated August 6, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation and preparing to welcome the upcoming Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in Ha Tinh province requests departments, branches, unions, associations, public service units, members of the Steering Committee and Party committees and authorities of districts, cities and towns to pay attention to and effectively implement a number of related contents.
Specifically, continue to inform and propagate the policies of the Party, the State, and the province on the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", Ha Tinh people prioritize using products produced in the province, OCOP products..., in appropriate and flexible forms, including promoting propaganda on electronic information pages, social networks, fanpage systems and actively coordinating with media agencies and newspapers so that cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people continue to respond to the Campaign, prioritize distribution, purchase, use of Vietnamese goods, goods produced in the province, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products during the Lunar New Year 2024 and gift-giving occasions.
Enhance the responsibility of departments, branches, sectors, unions, associations, provincial-level units, members of the Provincial Steering Committee and Party committees, authorities, Steering Committees of districts, cities and towns in propagating and implementing the Campaign; mobilizing cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to prioritize the consumption of Vietnamese goods, goods produced in the province to ensure quality, OCOP products, and typical rural industrial products.
Agencies and units using the State budget when purchasing items on the occasion of holidays, Lunar New Year 2024, buying gifts..., prioritize using products, goods, services of domestic origin, within the province, OCOP products and prioritize using products of investors with large budget contributions in Ha Tinh province such as: Vinfast, Saigon Beer, Sao Vang Savabeco and other agricultural products such as oranges, grapefruits, honey, agarwood, deer antlers, fish sauce... produced in the province.
Localities and units, according to their functions and tasks, coordinate to promote information work, diversify forms of promotion and introduction of products and goods produced domestically and in the province; actively connect and apply information technology, develop e-commerce and modern trade channels, combined with traditional distribution so that products and goods produced in the province have more opportunities to expand the domestic market and export.
Propose that the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and member organizations at all levels strengthen propaganda and mobilization to prioritize the use of Vietnamese goods and goods produced in the province to union members, members and people of all walks of life. Promote the responsibility of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to contribute with the government to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws on socio-economic development of the country and the province in the new situation.
Mobilize and guide people to monitor, detect, denounce and condemn acts of smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, goods violating intellectual property rights, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, and unsafe goods to protect the rights of legitimate businesses and consumers.
Functional sectors continue to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strict handling of violations, production, trading, advertising, and distribution of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, unsafe goods, and goods that violate intellectual property rights.
Propose that the Standing Committees of Party Committees of districts, cities and towns continue to pay attention to directing and further enhancing the responsibility of Party Committees at all levels in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the campaign, promoting the exemplary responsibility of leaders, cadres, Party members and mobilizing people to prioritize the consumption of Vietnamese goods, goods produced in the province, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products...
