Implementing the guidance in Circular 78/2021/TT-BTC guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Tax Administration dated June 13, 2019, Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating invoices and documents (Decree 123). In May 2023, the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) coordinated with the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam to upgrade the electronic ticket system using electronic receipts.
Tourists visiting the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam have a new experience with the electronic receipt system.
Thus, from this June, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam will take a new step forward in technological solutions compared to the previous use of electronic tickets, helping visitors have a new experience with the electronic receipt system according to the provisions of Decree 123. Visitors can easily look up ticket purchase history, invoices as well as ticket storage information in many flexible forms, avoiding losing tickets through electronic receipts provided by the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade).
With this utility, visitors only need to buy one ticket (in the form of an electronic receipt) and then scan the QR code for the whole group to enter, instead of buying a paper ticket for each person as in the old method. This system needs to be distinguished from the automatic ticket gate, because the QR code printed on the ticket in the form of an electronic receipt is not only used to scan when visitors pass through the gate but also contains enough information about the actual date and time of ticket issuance, series number, and can be looked up on the management system to check the ticket status.
In order to contribute to promoting the value of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam heritage, turning the relic into a high-quality tourist destination of the capital and the whole country, including the application of technology in the work and activities of the heritage, the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade) believes that upgrading electronic receipts this time will actively support the management and operation model of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam in a scientific and transparent manner. This not only helps to enhance the experience for visitors, but also helps ticket inspectors no longer have to check each ticket corresponding to the person, nor do they need to receive and tear tickets when visitors pass through the gate like before...
