Up to the present time of 2024, the entire power system managed by Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has installed 718,784 remote electronic meters, reaching 100% of the plan assigned by the Corporation, the number of remote meters accounts for 86.5% of the number of meters on the grid. By the end of 2024, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company strives to install 115,000 remote meters, completing the installation of 100% of remote electronic meters on the grid. The installation of electronic meters aims to make the recording of indexes, electricity bill collection transparent and convenient in the process of monitoring customers' electricity consumption. 100% of electricity purchase and sale contracts are digitized and updated with electronic records.

Implementing the policy of promoting non-cash payments of the Government and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Company continues to maintain the implementation of signed cooperation contracts with 7 banks and 9 intermediary organizations to provide electricity bill collection services. Of the total of more than 840 thousand customers of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company, the rate of customers paying electricity bills without using cash reached 95.72%.

In fact, currently 100% of customers' meters in Thanh Hoa city are electronic meters that are read and measured remotely. Customers can access meter readings and check meter readings at any time. Monthly readings are recorded synchronously on the computer system, very fast and convenient, saving time and labor for manual meter checking in the past. In the work of collecting electricity bills, currently 100% of customers do not pay electricity bills in cash anymore but pay through banking systems and apps.
Currently, Vietnam Electricity Group has integrated and shared data through the National Public Service Portal with 100% of electricity services. Customers in Thanh Hoa province only need to access the website address: www.dichvucong.gov.vn to be able to register for 12 electricity services.
