Provincial People's Committee worked with the delegation of the Department of Crafts and Fine Arts, Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State

This morning, January 11, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong and leaders of a number of departments and branches had a working session with the delegation of the Department of Handicrafts and Fine Arts, Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State (Federal Republic of Germany) and the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company (EI) to discuss cooperation in the fields of labor, training, and vocational study abroad.

At the meeting, after grasping general information about the socio-economic situation, potentials, advantages as well as the mechanisms and policies of the province for businesses wishing to cooperate and invest in various fields, the leader of the Department of Handicrafts of Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State said that in 2023, the Department of Handicrafts of Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company in training, consulting on studying abroad, and providing human resources for the German labor market.

Currently, the labor market in Germany is lacking young, skilled human resources, in which many units and businesses want to recruit Vietnamese workers, so the working delegation hopes to cooperate with educational institutions in the province to select, train and provide human resources to work in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Leaders of the Halle City Handicrafts Department and partners also shared and answered questions about the labor market, theoretical and practical training, income levels, and working environment in Germany...

The leaders of the departments and branches proposed that the leaders of the Department of Crafts and Fine Arts, Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State and partners continue to act as a bridge to help the departments and branches sign cooperation agreements with agencies, businesses, and prestigious universities in Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State on training in various fields, improving skills, and supporting students and workers to study, live and work in Halle City, Sachsen-Anhalt State in particular and the Federal Republic of Germany in general. On the other hand, it is proposed to connect German experts to Quang Tri province to support training and development of high-quality, highly skilled human resources at vocational training institutions in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized that Vietnam and Germany have had nearly 40 years of cooperation and development. In the province, there are currently many units and enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany coming to cooperate and invest and have achieved many results. The Provincial People's Committee will direct relevant departments, branches, sectors and units to coordinate closely and actively so that the process of understanding and cooperation achieves the best results, bringing practical, long-term and sustainable benefits.

Within the framework of the working session, representatives of the Department of Education and Training and the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation contents for the period 2024 - 2028 towards the goal of developing strategic relations, cultural exchange, human resource training and trade connection, technology transfer, investment attraction between educational institutions, units in Quang Tri province and partners in the Federal Republic of Germany.
