Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issues regulations on extra teaching and learning

Accordingly, extra teaching and learning can only be organized when students have the need to learn more, voluntarily learn more and have the consent of their parents or guardians. Schools, organizations and individuals organizing extra teaching and learning must not use any form to force students to learn more; must not cut down on teaching content according to the school's education plan to include extra teaching. Cases where extra teaching and learning is not allowed; the organization of extra teaching and learning inside and outside the school; the collection, management and use of extra learning fees are implemented according to Circular No. 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regulating extra teaching and learning.

The Provincial People's Committee is responsible for managing extra-curricular teaching and learning activities in the province; directing the inspection and examination of extra-curricular teaching and learning activities and handling violations according to the provisions of law. The Department of Education and Training shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors, localities and units to implement this regulation; organize or coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to organize inspections and examinations of extra-curricular teaching and learning activities in the province; handle violations according to its authority or propose competent authorities to handle violations.

The decision of the Provincial People's Committee also stipulates the responsibility for managing extra teaching and learning activities for the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; People's Committees of communes, wards and towns; Department of Education and Training; and coordination between departments, branches and localities. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties, problems or inappropriate content, organizations and individuals should promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee through the Department of Education and Training for consideration, resolution and appropriate amendments and supplements.
