The theme of National Digital Transformation Day 2024 is "Universalizing digital infrastructure and creating digital applications to develop the digital economy - New driving force for economic growth and labor productivity" with a series of activities lasting from September 2024 to January 2025 focusing on propaganda, guidance, and support for people and businesses to apply digital platforms, online services, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy affirmed: With the viewpoint "Digital transformation is the driving force for the province's development" and prioritizing and mobilizing resources to implement synchronous and comprehensive digital transformation at all levels, sectors, units and localities, in the past time, Ha Nam province has implemented synchronous digital transformation on 3 pillars: digital government, digital economy, digital society and has achieved remarkable successes, demonstrating the active participation of departments, sectors, localities, businesses and people.

The awareness of leaders, officials, civil servants and people about digital transformation has been significantly raised. Information systems, digital platforms and shared applications have been exploited and operated stably and effectively, initially serving the direction and administration of all levels of government, people and businesses.

Provincial leaders press the button to launch the Tourism Information Portal and Smart Tourism Application of Ha Nam province.

Currently, Ha Nam ranks first in the country in terms of the rate of online application processing. This result has helped save a significant amount of time, cost, and effort, creating publicity and transparency, bringing practical benefits to people and businesses. The proportion of digital economy in GRDP in 2023 ranked 8th out of 63 provinces and cities. Ha Nam leads the country in implementing Project 06, some models of Project 06 have been deployed and implemented effectively; is the first province to complete the connection of the Smart Operation Center with the National Population Database.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Digital transformation has been and is an inevitable trend, an urgent issue in the new development stage. Therefore, he requested the heads of departments, branches, agencies, organizations, and localities to enhance the role and responsibility of the head; review the reality at their agencies, units, and localities, thereby finding solutions to promote digital transformation in a practical and effective direction, solving problems and difficulties.

In particular, focusing on digital transformation to bring people and businesses benefits from public services and social utilities more conveniently, faster and more effectively. At the same time, focusing on organizing and implementing practical activities in response to Digital Transformation Day 2024, in order to raise awareness further, promote more drastic actions so that digital transformation truly becomes a driving force, bringing Ha Nam province in step with the whole country.

In particular, the conference announced the opening of the Tourism Information Portal and Smart Tourism Application of Ha Nam province.
