In the first half, U23 Vietnam and U23 Tajikistan created a balanced game. The home team used many long balls to take advantage of the height of the strikers. However, defenders such as Tran Quang Thinh, Nguyen Ngoc Thang and Nguyen Bao Long played calmly to neutralize this style of play of the opponent.
