Since the teams are not allowed to practice on the field, this activity is necessary to help the players have a better sense of the playing space. The U.17 Vietnam players had time to observe and feel the field, in order to prepare carefully for the match against U.17 Japan in 2 days.

This morning (June 18), the whole team watched the match tape and each player drew their own lessons. The joyful atmosphere of U.17 Vietnam gradually returned in the dining room or on the way to the training ground. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan only shared with his students: "This match is over, it's over. We will prepare better for the next match, and everything else is not important anymore."

U.17 Vietnam prepares for important match with U.17 Japan

On the same afternoon, U.17 Vietnam walked around Rajamangala Stadium, where the match against U.17 Japan will take place. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan said that there were some dead grass areas, but basically, the field surface was quite good, meeting the requirements.

Immediately after leaving Rajamangala Stadium, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team had 2 hours of practice on the field of Alpine Academy. While the main squad in the match against U.17 India only practiced recovery and relaxation, the reserve squad was divided into two and competed against each other on half the field.

The first two matches in Group D of the 2023 AFC U-17 Championship finals both ended with a score of 1-1, so the situation is very balanced. All 4 teams have 1 point and the goal difference is the same, so no team has created an advantage on the rankings.
