This afternoon, November 8, the Department of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Provincial Police and the Provincial Labor Federation to organize a conference to disseminate legal knowledge to employees working at foreign non-governmental organizations in Quang Tri province.

At the conference, more than 200 Vietnamese officials, employees and workers working at non-governmental organizations listened to topics including: Propaganda on fire prevention and fighting and rescue work; State administrative management of administrative order; Prevention of gambling and lottery and immigration management activities; Propaganda and dissemination of the 2019 Labor Code, some policies and regimes related to union members and workers; union member welfare.
In addition, exchange, dialogue, and answer questions for workers working at foreign non-governmental projects in the area.

Through the conference, it has contributed to helping the workforce be fully equipped with necessary information, knowledge and skills, contributing to building a healthy, sustainable and law-abiding working environment.
At the same time, improve legal knowledge, help employees grasp Vietnamese legal regulations on the rights and obligations of employees, and ensure proper implementation of regulations when working at foreign non-governmental organizations.
Thereby, contributing to creating a harmonious, stable and sustainable working environment between employees and foreign non-governmental organizations, promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
