Tong Minh Toi - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat district; Trinh Xuan Tam - Principal of Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; Vu Xuan Tung - Specialist of the Department of Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism, former specialist of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat district.

The Party Cell of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat district was also disciplined by the Inspection Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee with a reprimand.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the evening of August 22, Mr. Trieu Minh Xiet - Standing Deputy Secretary of Muong Lat District Party Committee - said that after the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee announced the decision to discipline the party organization and party members who violated the regulations in enrolling students at Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee will direct the authorities to take disciplinary action against the violating groups and individuals according to regulations.

Disciplinary measures for groups and individuals who violate the enrollment regulations at Muong Lat Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities will be completed and announced before the opening day of the new school year 2024 - 2025.

Among them, many children and grandchildren of department and school leaders and teachers were admitted to grade 6 at Muong Lat Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, violating the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, causing public outrage and affecting the regime and policies of the Party and State for children of ethnic minorities in extremely disadvantaged areas.
